Если сопоставить оба изображения, невооружённым глазом видно, что это всего лишь фантазия на тему и выполнены они не одной рукой, чего в принципе быть не может, будь оно пробой монетного двора.

I think I paid around 80 USD. This is not really a "coin", but is struck on two different planchets. Of course, they are not gold.

Maybe this is some fantasy coin but does this happen very often with modern Russian coins made after 1992? I know there are many made during Imperial Russia times before 1917, but not after 1992...

Original pattern of Russian coin cannot be bought for 80 dollars. Russia is not Poland, our patterns are very rare, and cost greater money

Some time before - smth about 3 or 4 month - on ebay was sold a few complects like this ( two coins-like jetons, for both side of original coin ) one side - original coin, other side word "МУЛЯЖ" i.e. "Model" or "mule"

some of that "coins" was minted and issued, some ( like those one 100 rubles) not.

Considerably, can exist pattern coins the same type, but ...

I never saw or heard about it.

Here is an example of "trial" Soviet coins that I have seen:

I don't know if these are really from the mint... except that I have seen them for sale from time to time.

This one is fake IMHO, too poor quality for russian (soviet) patterns

No, not at all. The design is exactly the same as the gold proof 50 rubles except the planchet differences.

I really don't know why would anyone want to make some ridicious fantasy coin and try to make the basilica exactly the same as a normal 1 ruble coin. Also, the mintmark MMD is there - hard to believe that anyone would try to make a ridicious fantasy piece like this...

Is it possible to email Moscow mint on this particular "coin"? :/
